From installation and maintenance to heating, garden size and safety covers, find answers to some of the questions we are asked most often.

POOL ADVICE & GUIDANCE

01 Why choose a fibreglass swimming pool instead of a concrete pool?

Fibreglass swimming pools typically offer faster installation, straightforward maintenance and a smooth finished surface compared with traditional concrete swimming pools. Their one-piece construction also allows much of the pool to be manufactured in a controlled factory environment before arriving on site.

02 How long does swimming pool installation take?

One-piece fibreglass pools can generally be installed considerably faster than pools constructed entirely on site. The overall project timescale will depend on groundwork, access, landscaping, services and the requirements of your chosen installation.

03 Are fibreglass swimming pools suitable for the UK climate?

Yes. Modern fibreglass swimming pools are well suited to UK gardens and can be paired with pool heating and insulated cover solutions to help extend the swimming season.

04 Do fibreglass swimming pools require less maintenance?

The smooth surface of a fibreglass pool can make routine cleaning and maintenance straightforward. As with any swimming pool, regular water treatment, filtration and general care will still be required.

05 Can I install a swimming pool in a smaller garden?

Yes. Compact pool designs can work extremely well in smaller gardens. The right model will depend on the available space, site access, intended use and the surrounding landscaping.

06 Where do you supply Aboral swimming pools?

Aboral swimming pools are supplied throughout the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with European supply also available.

07 Can a fibreglass swimming pool be heated?

Yes. Fibreglass swimming pools can be combined with modern pool heating systems, including heat pumps, to maintain a more comfortable water temperature and extend seasonal use.

08 Are one-piece swimming pools durable?

One-piece fibreglass pools are engineered as complete structures and manufactured in controlled conditions. With appropriate installation and ongoing care, they are designed to provide long-term performance.

09 Do swimming pools add value to a property?

A thoughtfully designed swimming pool can enhance a property's outdoor living space and appeal. Any effect on property value will depend on the home, location, quality of installation and individual buyer demand.

10 Are automatic safety covers available?

Yes. Selected Aboral pool models can be configured with integrated cover solutions designed to provide additional safety, convenience and insulation while maintaining a clean poolside appearance.
